Ontario Registered Virtual & In-Person Confidential

Healing addiction. Restoring connection. Reclaiming hope.

We meet couples where they are

I love someone who is struggling.

Loving someone facing addiction can be painful, confusing, and exhausting. You deserve support too. We help partners find clarity, healthy boundaries, and hope without carrying the burden alone.

Find Support for Myself

Our relationship is hurting.

Addiction can damage trust and connection, but couples do not have to face the repair process alone. We help couples communicate honestly, rebuild safety, and discern a healthier path forward.

Find Support for My Relationship

We want counselling that honours our faith.

Hope & Love welcomes spiritual reflection and faith-informed support — as a resource, never a requirement. We hold space for the whole person, including their beliefs and values.

Learn About Faith-Informed Care
Addiction doesn't just affect one person. It reshapes the relationship — the trust, the intimacy, the communication, the future you thought you were building together.

Addiction can make people feel unrecognizable — to themselves, to their partners, and to the people who love them most.

It can damage trust, create distance, deepen shame, and leave couples wondering whether the relationship they once believed in can survive. For the partner, it can feel like loving someone has become overwhelming, confusing, and lonely.

Hope & Love exists for both.

Through couples counselling and compassionate support, we help couples reconnect with what matters, rebuild trust where possible, develop healthier communication patterns, and find a path forward — together or apart — with honesty and grace.

The pain is real. The damage matters. But this does not have to be the end of the story.

Love is not denial, rescuing, enabling, or staying in unsafe situations. Healthy love includes boundaries, wisdom, and the courage to ask for support. Boundaries can be an act of love.

— Matt Harris, RP

A note on safety: Hope does not mean ignoring harm, minimizing betrayal, or staying in unsafe situations. Relationship repair is only considered where safety, willingness, and support are present. Not every relationship can or should be restored — and we will never pressure you toward an outcome that is not right for you.
