Many extended health benefit plans in Ontario cover sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). Coverage varies by plan, but psychotherapy is increasingly included as a covered benefit. If you are unsure whether your plan covers therapy, check your benefits booklet or call your provider and ask specifically about coverage for a Registered Psychotherapist.
What Matt provides
After each session, Matt provides a detailed receipt that includes his name, registration number (CRPO), session date, session type, and fee paid. This is typically all that is required for insurance reimbursement. You pay at the time of the session and submit the receipt to your insurer directly.
Payment methods
Payment is accepted by e-transfer, credit card, or debit. Payment is due at the time of each session.
Cancellation policy
Hope & Love asks for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments without notice may be charged the full session fee. If you are unwell or facing an emergency, please reach out — we will work with you.
A note on sliding scale
A limited number of reduced-fee spots may be available for individuals facing genuine financial hardship. If fees are a barrier to accessing support, please mention this when you reach out and we will do our best to find a workable arrangement.
